Cold and Flu Drink

This winter has been brutally cold! My husband got sick for the first time ever and took a day off from work. Here’s one trick I used to boost his immune system and get him better.

Cold and Flu Drink

1 Warm mug of water

1/2 lemon juiced

1 inch fresh ginger, sliced

1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar

1 tablespoon raw honey

1 pinch turmeric

1 pinch cayenne pepper

Directions:

Boil water. Cut up ginger into small pieces and put into your favorite mug. Pour hot water over ginger into your mug. Add apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, turmeric, and cayenne pepper. Allow your drink to cool a bit. When NOT hot anymore. Add raw honey. Raw honey will lose the medicinal properties if cooked.

Sip slowly and enjoy! :O)
